Gifted and Talented Education (GaTE) Teacher

RSU 5 and Durham Community School are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Gifted and Talented teacher to work with students in grades 3 through 8, providing literacy and math enrichment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a depth of knowledge in literacy and math, along with the ability to challenge and engage students. Experience with Teachers College Units of Study for Reading and Writing, Everyday Math, and pre-algebra math is desired. Strong communication skills are essential.

Requirements:

Must hold or be eligible for a valid Maine (690) Gifted and Talented Education certification.
