RSU5 Community Programs is seeking a creative and compassionate educator to work with its adult English learners and New Mainers as they acquire and improve their language skills and cultural acclimation. The ESL/ELL/ESOL instructor is more than just a teacher, but also serves as a safe harbor and trusted partner for students from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. Excellent communication and organization are a must, as are a genuine interest in working for the success and wellbeing of our learners and growing the number of learners we serve. The instructor must be able to differentiate instruction, work with a diverse group, and support individual learning needs. Rate of pay is $25/hr for 2+ hours per week.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid CHRC certification from ME Dept. of Education.

Position remains open until suitable candidate is found.
